Online Reference Product Guide enhancements

 

You may notice that we've added some enhancements to how you can navigate through the online reference version of The Protector SeriesSM product guide. As you search through the occupation class listings, you now have the option of clicking on the alphabetical listings on each page, and to toggle back and forth between the index page.

 

Correction

 

In the DI NEWS of February 2, 2009, the table for The Business Equity Protector showed incorrect amounts for 4A occupations. The table below shows the correct amounts. We apologize for any confusion.

The online Reference Product Guide has been revised to show the accurate amounts.

 

Language changes for some Michigan disability insurance forms.

 

New rules from the Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Services require the following:

 

  • changes to several of The Standard's individual disability income insurance policy forms for Michigan; and
  • a mailing to certain Michigan policyowners revising their current policy language.
